dog treat day

not too long ago, i came up with this recipe for my miniature poodle, beau. i call them simple doggie dollops, becuase they are, well, simple! i let him taste test them and they worked out as really good, easy to make treats. be ready though, the dough is really thick and sticky!!!

simple doggie dollops;
2 cups white flour
1/2 cup oatmeal
1&1/4 cup chicken or beef broth

combine all ingredients so they are blended well. its going to be really sticky and thick. lay some parchment paper on a cookie sheet and drop the dough onto it. keep the "dollops" about 2 inches apart. for size of dollops, i did about the size of 2 tablespoons combined. then bake 8-10 minutes at 350 F. these are going to look very pale, but they taster great. dont forget to refridgerate them because they have no preseratives and they might grow mold if not refridgerated.
